Biography David Johnson

David Johnson (1960) is the Executive Vice President, President of EAME operations of Nalco.

David started with Nalco in 1978 in the UK Weavergate Works Laboratory as a Scientific Assistant.  Moving through Research to Sales in the Oil Field Chemicals division in 1983, David worked in the UK and subsequently Norway in various Sales and Marketing positions before moving to the Refinery and Fuels business unit in 1990.  In 1995 joining the Nalco/Exxon Joint venture as a Market Development Manager in the Refining Business group, he progressed through various Sales and Marketing Management positions, before becoming Business Manager for EAME Refinery and Fuels Group in 2000.  In 2002, David relocated to Houston as the World Wide Marketing Manager for the Refining and Fuels Management Group.  In 2003 David became the General Sales Manager for the Downstream Business Unit in North America, and in 2004 the Strategic Business Manager for the Global Downstream Business.  In 2006 David became the Vice President for the Downstream Business before his appointment to EAME in 2007.

David has a degree in Chemistry (1st Class) and is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, with the designation of Chartered Chemist.

David is married to Liz and they have four children. They live in Wassenaar.
