Questions concerning doing business in the US
Unfortunately we do not support questions of non-member individuals about doing business in/with the US. These questions will not be handled. The Royal Dutch Embassy in Washington DC or the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) can help you with this.

Question concerning getting a business extract
The Dutch Chamber of Commerce manages a trade register (handelsregister) the American Chamber does not. The American Chamber is therefore unable to provide you with an extract. Our advice:

How to proceed with a company which is quoted on the stock exchange:
If the company is quoted on the stock exchange the company is obliged to send you official documentation of the company such as an annual report. Often all information is available via a company’s website.

How to proceed with all other companies:

Credit information
If you require credit information of the company, you can contact private credit information offices such as Dun and Bradstreet. There is an office of Dun and Bradstreet located in the Netherlands. For more information please visit the website of Dun and Bradstreet: www.dnb.com

Basic information
If you require basic company information you can contact the website of the state secretary / secretary of the commonwealth or lieutenant governor. Please click or copy paste the following link into your browser to view an extensive list of contact information:

Please note that the information is quite limited as it is only kept for tax purposes. Often it only contains basic information such as street address of principal place of business, contact name and if the company is active or not.
