AmCham YP - Young Minds, Big Change: The Intrapreneurship Challenge

Published: June 3, 2016

On June 2, 2016 AmCham Young Professionals and Philips Global I's joined forces in a collaborative event on Intrapreneurship at the headquarters of Philips in Amsterdam. Intrapreneurship is a big challenge for large organizations. How can we leverage all the internal resources - especially the power of young professionals' passion, ideas and drive to make the change? These and other questions were discussed with a panel of experts from NASA, Shell, Collider and Philips - and during an interactive workshop facilitated by AmCham Member XPLANE.

Over 100 young minded professionals gathered to exchange views with the panel and with each other. AmCham President Wouter Paardekooper and Philips ExCo Member Ingo Schroeter opened the event, supported by a message from Philips CEO Frans van Houten.

Edgar van Zoelen, Head of Philips HealthSuite Labs led the discussion with Robert Linck, CFO at Shell Technology Ventures, Ellen Bark-Lindhout, Investor, Startup Mentor & Innovation Strategist at Collider, Terrence Williams, of the ORION Project at NASA and Rob de Graaf, Senior Consultant Product Innovation at Philips - ensuring a rich debate bringing together experiences from leading organizations.

AmCham thanks Philips, all panelists and design consultancy XPLANE for the great collaboration!
