Looking Ahead: the Dutch EU Presidency in 2016

Within a year, the Netherlands will take over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, as part of the rotating system amongst the EU member states. In the first half of 2016 Dutch diplomats will chair countless meetings in Brussels and in Amsterdam, while ministries, cities, companies and NGOs organize a range of events in the lowlands.
