Stocks Perform Better if Women Are on Company Boards

Gender diversity does improve performance - that is the conclusion of an extensive study by the Swiss think tank Credit Suisse Research Institute.  Large companies with women on their boards perform better in challenging markets than those with all-male boards. 

The AmCham Diversity Committee has gender diversity on top of its agenda and will continue launching initiatives to create well balanced and high performing organizations through increasing female participation in the workforce both in general as well as in executive levels.
