Who's the President? Breakfast

November 7th
5 a.m.
The Kurhaus - Scheveningen

On November 7th at 5 a.m - yes, that's 05:00 hours! -  OAR ~ Overseas Americans Remember in cooperation with the United States Embassy will organize the 9th   “Who’s the President? Breakfast” in the Kurhaus in Scheveningen.  The “Who’s the President? Breakfast brings together the American, Dutch and international communities and provides a gathering place for people to watch the results of the election.  Republicans and Democrats stand side by side and respond according to their preferences.   The U.S. Embassy invites members of the government, international organizations and the diplomatic corps.

The Kurzaal is decorated with flags of the U.S. states and transformed into a red, white and blue American election hall.    In the spirit of a U.S. community event, the Jazz band of the American School of The Hague provides the music as it has since 1980.  The “Breakfast” ends before 9 a.m. People go to school and work knowing “Who the President” will be for the next four years and contemplating how the decision of U.S. voters will impact on their lives and the state of the world.
