Biography Raoul Oberman

Raoul Oberman (1959) is a Director in the Amsterdam office of McKinsey&Company. He works predominantly with financial institutions and utilities throughout Europe. Raoul is a co-leader of the European Insurance and Asset Management leadership and the Energy&Power leadership group.

For 6 years – from 1993 till 1998 – he worked for McKinsey in Korea, China and Indonesia. Prior to that, he worked for Deutsche Bank. 

Raoul has been on the board of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands since 2002, and has been serving as President since 2006. 

Raoul holds a Doctorate in Finance (risk management of interest rate derivatives), magna cum laude, from Frankfurt University, as well as an Economics diploma from Cologne University.

Raoul is married to In Hee and has four children.
