Biography Brenda Childers

Brenda Childers (1962) is Managing Director of Amsterdam Institute of Finance.

Her career started with Procter & Gamble, then continued with Morgan Stanley, where she worked at their offices in New York and London.  Ms. Childers came to the Netherlands in 1991 and assumed her current position with Amsterdam Institute of Finance in 1993.

Ms. Childers holds a Bachelor of Science degree (magna cum laude) from Miami University, and graduated in 1990 from the Stern School of Business, New York University, with an MBA (Honors) in Finance and International Business.  She has studied at London Business School and holds a graduate degree (with Distinction) in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam.

Ms. Childers has served on the Board of Governors of the British School of Amsterdam. She is currently a board member of ‘Insight the Gambia’ foundation and a member of Rotary Club Amsterdam International.

Ms. Childers is married with four children.
