On February 10, AmCham hosted a webinar with Dawson Law, Founder of Conseil Global Advisors, on “2026 Economic Risk Outlook: Sanctions, Export Controls, & Investment Screening”. Mr. Law gave an overview of the Trump Administration’s foreign policy and discussed recent changes with tariff escalation, executive authority expansion, and developments for the Netherlands. Between ongoing tariff negotiations, new policies, and an upcoming Supreme Court decision on IEEPA, 2026 is a time of legal uncertainty.
