Former U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Timothy Broas has joined the firm's Washington office as a member of the Investigations, Financial Regulations & White Collar practice group.
Ambassador Broas has more than 30 years of experience as a white collar criminal defense attorney, representing individuals and corporate clients from the grand jury investigation phase through trials and appeals. He has regularly conducted internal investigations on behalf of audit committees and boards and has counseled clients on navigating their most significant legal challenges. Since his return to private practice in 2017, he has resumed his white collar and investigations practice, and has expanded his portfolio to include representation of non-U.S. companies, individuals and sovereign governments with respect to legal and political issues affecting business and investments in the United States.
