On September 24, AmCham Young Professionals had the opportunity to discover what happens behind the scenes at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
The visit offered insights into the scale and complexity of Schiphol’s operations, its extensive U.S. network and the traffic between Amsterdam and the United States. A presentation provided the opportunity to learn more and ask questions, while an exclusive airside bus tour gave participants a closer look at the infrastructure, logistics and operations that keep the airport moving.
Throughout the tour, the Young Professionals heard interesting facts and stories about Schiphol and had the opportunity to take in the views and capture photos during two stops. The afternoon concluded over coffee at the Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel, providing time for the group to connect and network with one another.
