On Tuesday November 9, Herna Verhagen, CEO at PostNL, spoke at AmCham’s Going for Gold Dinner. Ms. Verhagen captivated the audience with an insightful speech: ‘Transforming a Company in Uncertain Times.’
For years, PostNL has been working to transform itself from a company that leans on the shrinking letter delivery market into a parcel specialist that grows with the e-commerce market. Since taking office in 2012, the ambitious top woman transformed PostNL from an ailing postal company into an essential player for the logistics behind e-commerce, never losing sight of the diversity and inclusion aspect.
After the welcome remarks of AmCham President Jasper van Ouwerkerk, the evening was kicked off by Nicolas Ferri, newly appointed Vice President EMEAI at Delta Air Lines. Mr. Ferri shared some Delta highlights, followed by the traditional raffle of two Delta Premium Select tickets to a destination of choice in the USA, offered by AmCham's longstanding partner and Patron Member Delta Air Lines.
