CBRE Breakfast Session “The Snowball Effect of Healthy Offices”

Published:

Amsterdam, January 30, 2018 - During an early morning breakfast session at the Amsterdam office of CBRE, around 35 members joined us this morning to learn more on the "Snowball Effect of Healthy Offices." Elizabeth Nelson (University of Twente) and Wouter Oosting (CBRE) joined forces for a unique study into the relationship between people’s working environment and their health, well-being and ability to perform. They pitched their outcomes during an interactive presentation. According to the research, a working environment has more of an influence on our behaviour and mood than you would think. But the traditional office takes little account of what our bodies need. When you realise that we spend most of the day sitting in an unnatural environment full of unhealthy temptations, you may wonder whether we are really enabling ourselves to perform to the best of our ability.
