The Hague, September 7, 2017 – After the summer holidays, AmCham kicked off the second half of the year with an exclusive “After Summer Reception” at the U.S. Ambassador’s Residence in The Hague. For this special occasion we invited former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Maxime Verhagen.
The event started with welcome remarks of both Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Shawn Crowley and AmCham President Wouter Paardekooper. Followed by the keynote speech of Maxime Verhagen on the current transatlantic political challenges we are facing. The debate with Mr. Verhagen and the AmCham members continued over drinks & bites on the terrace of the beautiful residence.
