Have Your Say on the Future of the 30% Tax Ruling

The Dutch government is currently investigating the effects of the 30% reimbursement ruling to decide whether or not it should remain in place. The Netherlands Court of Audit (Algemene Rekenkamer) has issued a report concluding that the costs associated with the 30% ruling for highly skilled migrants amount to almost €7 million per year, and questions whether this is in proportion to the advantages of the scheme. Several political parties are also calling for the ruling to be abolished.

AmCham Members will soon be offered an opportunity to participate in a study about the 30% ruling.
