On November 19, AmCham hosted its annual Legal Seminar, this year focused on “New Rules, New Risks; Industry Impact & The Role of Legal in Uncertain Times”. The event began with a presentation from author and Managing Partner at Publyon, Kirsten Verdel, who has been following all of the decisions coming out of the White House since the new administration. She discussed the changes happening in the United States in terms of economy, geopolitics, regulations, and more, as well as how this has begun to affect legal teams. Following the keynote, guests were able to have an interactive discussion with three panellists: Linn Evans, Chief Legal Officer at Ahold Delhaize, Anne Ermose, Assistant General Counsel at Microsoft, and Charles Honée, Partner at A&O Shearman.
