On April 29, AmCham hosted a webinar, “95% of AI Projects Fail: Learn Why the Other 5% Didn’t,” led by Laurens Vanryckeghem, Director at Plug and Play. In 2025, over 200 billion euros were spent on AI, but less than 10% of these projects are up and running today. Organizations face challenges sustaining AI models as their companies scale. Mr. Vanryckeghem walked through how many startups are addressing these problems using AI-native techniques, stressing the importance of a continuous feedback loop and an aggregate layer across all data systems. Following the case studies, he outlined the direction AI is headed and answered questions from AmCham members.
