On September 9, AmCham hosted a lunch webinar on the EU Pay Transparency Directive with Samira Rafaela, former Member of the European Parliament and former Rapporteur on the Pay Transparency Directive; Gregory Lawless, People & Culture Leader EMEA at ManpowerGroup; Anthony Poole, Partner, Human Capital at Aon; and Paul Kleppe, Enterprise Client Leader at Aon.
The speakers discussed what the Directive means for employers and how organizations can prepare for its implementation, including the importance of consistent job frameworks and job architecture, manager readiness, responding to employee requests, and effective communication around pay transparency. Particular attention was given to the additional complexity faced by global organizations due to differing national requirements and implementation timelines.
At the end of the webinar, AmCham Members also had the opportunity to ask insightful questions, which were addressed by the speakers.
