On May 27, AmCham and its Diversity and Inclusion Committee hosted an event on the role of AI when it comes to talent. We were excited to welcome several expert speakers to share their insights and experiences: Soeradj Ramsanjhal, Senior Associate at Stibbe, Femke van Logtenstein, Client Director at Bullhorn, Matthijs Werkman, Chief Portfolio Officer & Responsible AI Officer at Randstad Groep Nederlands, Hester van Oene, Head of People at Widen & Kennedy, Nikki Brouwer-Machielsen, HR Director Northern Europe at Salesforce and moderator Jennifer Eversen, VP Professional Services Nordics & Benelux at Salesforce.
AI is transforming the landscape of recruitment, promotion, and employee retention. This brings opportunities to enhance talent strategies, as well as ethical, legal, and operational risk. As the workforce trains AI, it's important to audit and challenge outputs, check for biases in AI and ourselves, remain curious, and remember that every decision must still be about people. As we build, adapt, and integrate AI systems, the most important thing we can do is keep humanity at the center.
