On November 7, in collaboration with AmCham Belgium, AmCham The Netherlands organized a webinar featuring Jon Decker, an esteemed White House Correspondent with a wealth of experience in political journalism. His insights into the inner workings of the U.S. government and his track record of insightful analysis make him an ideal guide through the complexities of the upcoming election.
With just one year remaining until the U.S. Presidential Elections, this event explored the U.S. political landscape as it stands today, in which President Biden and former President Trump currently are the most likely candidates to run for (re-)election. Jon Decker also spoke about other potential candidates, the critical issues shaping the campaigns, voter sentiments – all of which influence the strategies of the candidates.
According to Mr. Decker: “This is going to be a very close election. There are a lot of factors that we don’t know yet right now. In politics, a year is an eternity”.
In the upcoming year, the whole world will be watching how different factors unfold in the run-up to November 5,2024.
